The Vibe:
Providence College is widely known for its “work hard, play hard” campus culture. As a small, Catholic, liberal arts school, PC fosters a tight knit and hardworking community. Notorious for its mandatory “Development of Western Civilization” curriculum, PC encourages students to dive deeply into their studies of the liberal arts, regardless of their majors. PC’s highly holistic philosophy helps students to become academically well-rounded. As for the “play hard” aspect, PC students greatly value the lifelong friendships and memories they make during their four years. While on campus, one might notice this aura of happiness and pride, commonly referred to as “Friar Friendliness.” Located just outside of the beautiful city of Providence, students never find themselves lacking fun activities to do!
