Are Test-Optional Policies Here to Stay?

This past admissions season certainly deviated far from the norm. As the pandemic resulted in a surge in test-optional policies, many students with weaker scores no longer felt demoralized in applying to schools they may not have considered prior to the change. Every student is different, and some believe that their SAT/ACT scores do not accurately reflect their true potential for achievement.
